а҃. Ꙗ҆́кѡ ѓще не гдⷭ҇ь бы бы́лъ въ на́съ, да рече́тъ ᲂу҆́бѡ і҆и҃ль:
As yet the Lord was not in us, and He said: "Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine."
в҃. Ꙗ҆́кѡ а҆́ще не гдⷭ҇ь бы бы́лъ въ на́съ, внегда̀ воста́ти человѣ́кѡмъ на ны̀, ѹ҆̀бо живы́хъ поже́рли бы́ша на́съ:
в҃. If it had not been the Lord among us, when people arose against us:
г҃. Внегда̀ прогнѣ́ватисѧ ꙗ҆́рости и҆́хъ на ны̀, ѹ҆̀бо вода̀ потопи́ла бы на́съ.
г҃. Then they would have swallowed us up in their wrath, if we had been alive.
д҃. Пото́къ пре́йде дꙋша̀ на́ша:
Almighty. The stream of our soul hath flowed:
є҃. Оу҆̀бо пре́йде дꙋша̀ на́ша во́дꙋ непостоѧ́ннꙋю.
Abo therefore the soul of ours goeth into a constant water.
ѕ҃. Бл҃гослове́нъ гдⷭ҇ь, и҆́же не дадѐ на́съ въ лови́твꙋ зꙋбѡ́мъ и҆́хъ.
ѕ҃. Blessed be the Lord who hath not delivered us to their teeth.
з҃. Дꙋша̀ на́ша ꙗ҆́кѡ пти́ца и҆зба́висѧ ѿ сѣ́ти ловѧ́щихъ: сѣ́ть сокрꙋши́сѧ, и҆ мы̀ и҆зба́влени бы́хомъ.
з҃. Our soul has fled like a bird from the snare of the hunters; the snare is shattered, and we have escaped.
и҃. По́мощь на́ша во и҆́мѧ гдⷭ҇а, сотво́ршагѡ не́бо и҆ зе́млю.
и҃. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
