Yirmós: There is none holy / As thou, O Lord my God, / Exalt the horn of thy faithful ones near thee, / And strengthen us upon the stones / Confessing thyself.

When the thrones shall be set upon judgment fearful, then shall all men's deeds be openly judged: woe there for the sinners, sent forth in torments: and thou knowing, O my soul, repent of the hearing of thy works.

Response: Have mercy on me, O Lord, have mercy on me.

First, the penitent shall rejoice, and the sinners shall weep: then no one shall be able to help us, but our deeds shall judge us. Therefore before the end let us repent of the hearing of thy works.

Response: Have mercy on me, O Lord, have mercy on me.

Overtaken by great sin! Whose deeds and thoughts have been defiled, I have no drops of tears from hardness of heart: Now arise from the earth, O my soul, and repent of hearing thy deeds.

Response: The Theotokos, save us.

All crieth, O Lord, Thy servant, and teacheth us good; but I, sinful, ever flee from good: but thou, merciful, forgive me, that I may confess the hearing of my deeds.
