Yirmós: God / By man it is impossible to behold / Upon whom even the angels dare not gaze: / Through Thee, all-compassionate, dependeth man / For the Word Incarnate; / Whose glory we magnify, / With heavenly hymns, O Soul and Spirit.

Response: Милосердию мя, Господи, милосердию мя.
Ны́нѣ къ ва́мъ прибѣга́ю, а҆́гг҃ли, а҆рха́гг҃ли, и҆ всѧ̑ нбⷭ҇ныѧ си̑лы, ѹ҆ прⷭ҇то́ла бж҃їѧ стоѧ́щїи, моли́тесѧ ко творцꙋ̀ своемꙋ̀, да и҆зба́витъ дꙋ́шꙋ мою̀ ѿ мꙋ́ки вѣ́чныѧ.
Now to you, angels, archangels, and all heavenly powers standing before the throne of the Creator, I beseech you with prayers to the Maker of my being, that He may deliver my soul from eternal torments.
Припѣ́въ: Поми́лꙋй мѧ̀, бж҃е, поми́лꙋй мѧ̀.
Response: Милосердию̀, Господи, милосердию̀.
Ны́нѣ пла́чꙋсѧ къ ва́мъ, ст҃і́и патрїа́рси, ца́рїе и҆ прⷪ҇ро́цы, а҆пⷭ҇ли и҆ ст҃и́тели, и҆ всѝ и҆збра́ннїи хрⷭ҇тѡ́вы: помози́те мѝ на сꙋдѣ̀, да сп҃се́тъ дꙋ́шꙋ мою̀ ѿ си́лы вра́жїѧ.
Now weep unto you, O holy Patriarchs, kings and prophets, apostles and advocates, all ye chosen of Christ: help me at the judgment, that my soul may be saved from the power of enmity.
Припѣ́въ: Поми́лꙋй мѧ̀, бж҃е, поми́лꙋй мѧ̀.
Response: Милосердию̀, Господи, милосердию̀.
Ны́нѣ къ ва́мъ воздѣжꙋ̀ рꙋ́цѣ, ст҃і́и мч҃нцы, пꙋсты̑нницы, дѣ́вствєнницы, првⷣницы, и҆ всѝ ст҃і́и, молѧ́щїисѧ ко гдⷭ҇ꙋ за ве́сь мі́ръ, да поми́лꙋетъ мѧ̀ въ ча́съ сме́рти моеѧ̀.
Now I lift up my hands to thee, O holy hierarchs, monks, nuns, virgins, and all holy ranks, who pray unto the Lord for all the world, have mercy on me in the hour of my death.

Мт҃и бж҃їѧ, помози́ ми, на тѧ̀ си́льнѣ надѣ́ющемꙋсѧ, ѹ҆молѝ сн҃а своего̀, да поста́витъ мѧ̀ недосто́йнаго ѡ҆деснꙋ́ю себє̀, є҆гда̀ сѧ́детъ сꙋдѧ́й живы́хъ и҆ ме́ртвыхъ. Ґми́нь.
Lord God, have mercy on me, a sinner, who dependeth upon Thee, pray Thy Father that Thou mayest seat me, unworthy though I am, at Thy right hand, when Thou sittest to judge the living and the dead. Amen.
