Irmos: In the cave of the holy prophets, as in a furnace by divine piety, shining brighter than gold, they spoke, saying: Bless ye all the works of the Lord, sing and exalt them for ever.
Whom by Thy will creating and transforming, turning the shadow of death into eternal life, by Thy words, O Lord, Thy Theotokos we continually make supplication to Thee, and exalt thee in all ages.
Thou hast rent asunder the bonds of sorrow, O Lord, and the confession, in the gates and strongholds of the devils; Thou hast risen on the third day from the grave. Unto Thee, O unceasingly adored by all, doth the whole world make supplication, and extols Thee for evermore.
O Theotokos,
Bless ye all the works of the Lord, praise and exalt Him for ever and ever.
And Irmos: Wonder of wonders:
Come ye people, let us bow down in place where standeth the precious and life-giving Cross, and upon the ancient holy Tree of the Life-giving Hand stretched out, for the salvation of all men, and the grave of the living abode: that every creature may bless thee, O Lord, and magnify thee for ever.
O Lord, judge the accuser and Jew, their unlawful slander: they called Him a deceiver, rising up against Thee with a mad seal upon them. Wherefore rejoicing we sing: may every creature bless Thy countenance, and exalt it for evermore.
Chanted: In the threefold holy presence, God speaks and in one divine manifestation, the seraphim, purest of all, glorify Him with reverent awe in a triune adoration. With them, we also, with pious reverence, sing: may every creature praise Thee, and exalt Thee for ever.
The Canonical Feast of the Theotokos
Andirmos: In the cave, at dawn, the holy and divine ones:
O light-giving chamber, from which all Master goeth forth, since the Bridegroom hath arisen, let us all sing to Thee: whatsoever deeds the Lord hath done, let them be sung and extolled for ever.
Bless the sinner who hath born us, O Lord, having arisen; pray for all them that call upon Thee with close affection, both Thee and Thy Theotokos: bless all the works of God, sing and exalt for ever.
