O Soul of mine, praise the Lord. I praise the Lord in my life, I sing to God my Father, until I am here. Thou shalt not find among princes, among sons of men, in them deliverance. When His Spirit goeth forth, and returneth into His own land: on that day shall perish all His thoughts. Blessed is he whose Helper is the Lord Jesus Christ, who hopeth upon the Lord God his own: Who hath made heaven and earth, sea, and whatsoever therein: Who keepeth truth for ever, who maketh judgment to stand, who giveth food to the hungry. The Lord will decide the ungodly, the Lord will enlighten the blind, the Lord will exalt the fallen, the Lord loveth the righteous. The Lord will keep strangers, he will take in the poor and widow, and destroy the way of sinners. For ever shall the Lord be praised, Thy Father, O my Soul, in generation and in generation.
And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Only-begotten Son, and Word of God, immortal, and having become incarnate for our salvation, didst descend from the heavens, taking upon Thee flesh and blood, not subject to decay, uniting Thyself in the very depths: then didst Thou, O Lord, by death, destroy death, becoming One of the Holy Trinity, glorified by the Father and the Holy Spirit. Save us.
