To Thee, O Lord, I lift up my soul. God, in Thee have I taken refuge; let me not be confounded for ever, nor let them mock me for a moment: for all who wait on Thee shall not be confounded. They that are lawless shall be confounded for their vanity. Show me the way of Thy commandments and teach me. Guide me in Thy truth, for Thou art my Savior; I have waited for Thee all day long. Remember, O Lord, Thy mercies, and Thy truth, for they are from everlasting. Remember not the sins of my youth or my ignorance: remember me, O Lord, according to Thy mercy, for Thou art good. Good and upright is the Lord, that He may teach sinners in His way. He will guide the humble into judgment, He will teach the humble His way. The ways of the Lord are to be remembered and truth sought by those who seek His covenant and His testimonies. For Thy name's sake, O Lord, cleanse my sin: for many am I. Who is he that fears Thee? Let Him instruct him in His way, whom He has willed. His soul shall dwell in goodness, and his seed inherit the land. The power of the Lord is to those who fear Him; His covenant He will establish with them. My fathers have provoked Thee to anger, for Thou wilt take away their harvest from the snare of their sin. Look upon me, O Lord, and have mercy on me: for I am alone and needy. The sorrows of my heart multiply; deliver me out of my distress. Behold my humility and my labor, and forgive all my sins. Behold my enemies, for they are multiplied, and they hate me with an unrighteous hatred. Keep my soul, and save me: that I may not be confounded, for I have put my trust in Thee. The merciful and righteous cleave to me, for I have waited for Thee, O Lord. Save, O Lord, Thy servant, from all evil; Thou hast upheld me in my distress.
