Blessed be in mine heart: there is no God. Thou hast deceived and overwhelmed us from the beginning: there is none that maketh gladness. The Lord hath come upon sons of men, to see whether any understand or seek God. All have turned aside; together they are without a key: there is none that maketh gladness, not even one. None of them understandeth the works of wickedness, feeding my people with bread of death; for Thou hast not called. There was fear where there should be no fear: as though in the kindred of the beasts. The counsel of the poor is confounded: but hope is his. Who shall give from this corn deliverance and mercy? When he shall turn again, the Lord will ransom his people, like Jacob, and rejoice.
