O most wonderful and blessed Father, Saint James of Christ! With faith and love falling to you, we pray to you: with your holy prayers from all misfortune, sorrow and illness and from all the wrath of God that righteously moves upon us: ask us for a quiet and serene life, in all piety and purity: help us to receive salvation and the Kingdom of Heaven achieve. Hey, servant of God and our intercessor! do not despise this earnest prayer of ours, but look upon us mercifully and beg for us, the all-generous lover of mankind, God, that we may not perish violently through our iniquities, but may we be honored with you and with all the saints to glorify and sing His all-holy name forever and ever.
