O Lord, have mercy upon us, for in thee we have trusted: let not thy wrath light upon us, nor count our transgressions against us; but look upon us now with a favorable eye, and deliver us from our enemies: for thou art God our King, and we are thy people, all our works being by thine hand, and to thee we cry.

Therefore, O Good Shepherd of Thine flocks, do not deliver me to deceit and treachery, nor abandon me to the desire of Satan, for indeed sevenfold is his power in me. Thou art the Lord, God, O Holy Theotokos, sleeping Thou hast preserved me with an unquenchable light, in Thy holy home, where Thou didst rest Thine Incarnate Word. Give also unto me, this unworthy servant of Thine, a repose on my own couch: enlighten my soul with the light of Thy wisdom, love Thee with a pure heart, and with heartfelt words receive Thy teaching, make my body by Thy passionless strength without passions: preserve my thoughts in Thy humility, and raise me up at the time like unto Thine glorious praise. O Lord, heavenly King, Comforter, O Spirit of Truth, Thou hast humbled Thyself, and hast pitied me, the sinful servant of Thine, and hast forgiven me my unworthiness, and hast blotted out all my transgressions, even as I have sinned today, and more than a man, even as a beast: both voluntary sins and involuntary, known and unknown, from my youth, and from my learning, and whatsoever are of covetousness and iniquity. Yea, whether by name or thought I have blasphemed Thee, or have praised Thee falsely; whether I have injured any man, or have grieved him with my wrath, or have troubled him, or have been angry at anything, or have lied, or have sowed idle words, or have been slothful in ploughing: whether a poor man has come to me, and I have despised him; or my brother, or my sister, or any other whom I have grieved: whether I have quarrelled, or have puffed up myself, or have been angry: whether standing before Thee in prayer, by my sinfulness I have moved the peace of this world to trouble: whether evil thoughts have come into my mind, or I have prayed, or have fasted, or have laughed without cause: whether I have thought wickedly, or have seen goodness and envied it; thereby I was pierced in heart: whether I have spoken unseemly words, or have mocked the sin of my brother, for mine own sins are countless: whether by prayer I have been negligent, or have done anything else wickedly, I cannot remember: yet all these and greater than these have I done. Forgive me, O Creator, Thou heavenly Master, of Thy merciful love blot out my unworthiness, and leave me not, but forgive me, for Thou art good and lover of mankind: that I may lie down in peace, sleep and rest, O wayward, sinful and weeping servant: and I will prostrate myself, and praise Thee, and glorify Thy most holy Name, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

What hast thou brought, or what wilt thou give, O great-gifted immortal King, most bountiful and loving of souls; for having been idle at thy will, and doing nothing good, thou hast led me to the end of this day, turning and saving my soul. Be merciful to me, O sinful and naked one, in all thy works: raise up my fallen soul, defiled by countless sins, and let all my evil thoughts be made visible in this life. Forgive my sins, only sinless One; for I have sinned today both knowingly and unknowingly, by word, deed, thought, and all my senses. Thou thyself coverest me from every opposing resistance with thine ineffable love, and by thy bountiful power. Purify, O Lord, the multitude of my sins. Willingly grant me deliverance from the net of the crafty one, save my sinful soul, and enlighten me with the light of thy face: when thou comest in glory; and let not this night find me asleep without thought: and keep the thoughts of thy servant undefiled, and all Satan's offspring from me. Enlighten our understanding hearts, that we may not fall into death. And send us an angel of peace, guardian and instructor of my soul and body, that he may save me from my enemies; and when I arise with my spirit, bring to thee my thankful prayers. Hear me, O Lord, the sinful and righteous servant, by thy will and conscience: grant me to learn by thy words, and let thy angels drive far away the evil spirits from me: and bless me, and praise and glorify the most holy Theotokos, who gave us a sinless intercession for the guilty ones; receive this praying one for us: for we know that thy love follows us, and our prayers do not cease. By this intercession, and by the precious seal of thy signet, and all thy saints' sake, keep my holy soul with thee: for thou art, and art glorified to the ages. Amen.
O Lord our God, for whom we have sinned today in word, deed, and thought, as Thou art good and lover of mankind, forgive us. Give me a peaceful sleep and an untroubled heart, Thy angel keeping watch over me, covering and preserving me from all evil: for Thou art the guardian of souls and bodies of ours, and to Thee we send glory, Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. O Lord Jesus Christ, with the Theotokos and all thy Angels, prostrate and kneel before Thy Most Pure Mother, beseeching her to intercede for us with Thee. For Thou, O Lord, hast deigned to take upon Thyself our flesh, in order that by Thy precious and holy Incarnation, and through Thy apostles, light-bringers, martyrs, venerable and life-bearers, all thy saints, I may be delivered from the present conflict of demons.
O my God and Creator, do not will the death of the sinner; but as Thou didst turn him to life, grant me also a change through Thy merciful turning. Change me from the harmful words that speak to destroy me, that they may consume me alive in hell. O my God, my comforter, which came upon me when I was clothed with corruptible flesh, remove me from this corruption and give me comfort for my soul's yearning.
Impress Thy commandments on my heart, and put away the works of darkness, that I may receive the blessings of Thine. For where Thou art, O Lord, save me.
Stága Petra studíjskagvé:
Aassage of the Apostle Peter for students:
And now I exhort you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
For it hath been reported unto me of you, my brethern, by them which are of the circumcision, that ye walk disorderly, and are not without blame. For even this gave occasion to certain of the brethren to speak against us.
I beseech you therefore, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brothers, be pitiful, be courteous:
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
And who is there among you that desired not the day of the fleshly tabernacles? for I know that ye have sorrowed, because the tabernacle of your flesh is decayed, as also our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.
To Thee, O Most Pure Mother of God, I, Thy servant, with compunction of heart pray: Remember me, O King, because without ceasing I sin and grieve Thee and Thy Son, and many times do I repent, lying prostrate before God, trembling in my repentance. For if Thou shouldst smite me, again would I fall. Knowing this, O My Lady Theotokos, hear my prayer, that Thou mayest forgive me, strengthen me, and work good for me. For, O My Lady Theotokos, although with all my heart I hate the deeds of my sin, and with all my mind love the Law of Thy Son: yet I do not know, O Most Pure Mother, from whence I should hate, that I might also love, and thus commit sin. Do not permit, O Most Pure Mother, by my will to be fulfilled, for it is not meet; but may Thy will and the will of Thy Son be done: that Thou mayest save me, enlighten me, and give good gifts to Thy servant, that I might cease from all unclean deeds, and have lived henceforth in obedience to Thee, which is meet for every glory, honor and power, with Thine eternal Father and Thy Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Whoever hates us and fears us, forgive them, O Lover of mankind. Bless those who bless us; grant to our brothers and kinsmen the gift of repentance for their salvation and eternal life. Visit in your weakness, and grant healing. Govern those in the sea. Travel with those who travel. Support the Christians. Grant to those serving and loving us forgiveness of sins. Those who have commanded us, even the unworthy, pray for them; forgive according to thy great mercy. Remember before Thee, O Father, our departed fathers and brothers, and repose them where Thou dost sit in light. Remember before Thee, our brethren in captivity, and deliver them from every adversity. Remember before Thee, those bearing fruit and doing good deeds in Thy churches; grant them also for their salvation and eternal life. Remember before Thee us, the humble, the sinful, the unworthy servants of Thine, and enlighten our souls with the light of Thy wisdom, and guide us on the way of Thy commandments: through prayers glorify Thy Lady, and all Thy saints, as Thou art blessed for ever and ever. Amen.

I confess to Thee, O Lord my God and Creator, in the Holy Trinity, glorified and worshipped, Father, and Spirit, and Power, all my sins which I have committed in all days of my life, and at every hour, and in this present time, and in past days and nights: by deeds, words, thoughts, meditations, drunkenness, secret doings, festive speech, sighs, laziness, slander, oppression, negligence, self-love, many-sidedness, theft, untruthfulness, foul gain, hypocrisy, envy, anger, memory of evil, hatred, wickedness, and all my senses: by sight, hearing, taste, smell, and other sins, both spiritual and bodily, with which I have provoked Thy God's wrath, and wronged my neighbor. For these things, sorrowing for myself, I confess to Thee, O my God, and have the will to be reconciled: truly, O Lord my King, help me, beseeching Thee in tears of humility: and may Thy mercy forgive all these, as Thou hast cried out before Thee, being good and lover of mankind.
Mercy of the holy and venerable Ioann Damascus,
who pointed to thy wound, saith:
"Let not thine heart be hardened,
for suddenly compunction cometh."
For always sudden is the visitation of God's mercy,
and delusion leadeth into spiritual deception.
Stranger thou art in this world,
a foreigner and a pilgrim;
thy dwelling place is heaven,
wherefore let thy heart be humble.
Creatures are they that deceive thee,
for deceit is their nature.
Therefore, O Soul, be not entangled with them,
but cleave to the Lord thy God.
For evermore doth His mercy exceed all things,
and His righteousness and glory are ineffable.
O Master, lover of mankind, wilt Thou indeed let this my tomb be for me; or yet enlighten still my soul by Thy light today? Lo, before me is a tomb, lo, death stands facing me. In Thy judgment I fear, and endless torments; but not cease do I create: ever in Thee, O Lord of my soul, do I grieve, and curse Thy might, and all the powers, and the angel who keepeth me.
For verily, O Lord, I know wherefore, for that I am unworthy of Thine love, yet worthy of every judgment and torment. But Thou, whether wilt or no, save me. For if Thou hast saved the righteous man, nothing greater; and if Thou hast forgiven the pure one, nothing marvellous: for they are worthy to receive Thy mercy. But upon my sinfulness marvel Thou: that this Thine love may not overcome my weakness, more hidden than Thy unspeakable goodness and mercy: and as Thou wilt, order all things for me.
Thus desiring to lie upon the bed of repose,

Enlighten my eyes, O Lord Jesus Christ: that I may not fall into death, nor when the enemy saith: I have stiffened him against me.

Helper of my soul, be God, for I walk in the nets of many: deliver me from them, and save me closer, for a lover of mankind.
And now and for ever. Amen.
O most Glorious Theotokos, and of the holy company of angels, unceasingly we hymn with heart and tongue, beseeching Thee, this our confession, for truly Thou didst give birth to God Incarnate, and ceaselessly praying for our souls.
Also, cleanse thy own with the sign of the Cross from head to feet, and from all lands, saying:
Mercy in the precious and holy Kiss:
Când te duci la somn, zice:
În mâinile Tale, Doamne, Isus Hristos, Dumnezeul meu, îmi încredințez sufletul: Tu mă binecuvântezi, Mă miluiește, și viața veșnică dăruiește-mi. Amen.
