Lord our God, at the beginning of Your creation You created the heavens and the earth: and You adorned the sky with great luminaries, which enlightened the earth, and You were marveled by them as the only Creator and Master of creation: And You adorned the earth with grain and grass, and with the variety of seeds sown according to kind, and having imagined all the flowers as a beautiful decoration, You blessed yu: Even now, O Lord, look from Thy holy dwelling upon this acquisition and bless it: preserve it unharmed from all enchantment and charm and all evil, the deceit of the evil one, and the deceit of wicked people: and let it bear fruit in time, filled with Thy blessing: and all the beast and the creeping thing, the worm and the flies and the neighing, the heat and the heat, and the bad winds that cause harm, drive away from it.
