To Thee, O Most Pure Mother of God, I fall down and wretchedly pray: Weigh, O Queen, for I continually sin and anger Thy Son and my God, and many times I repent, lie before I am found by God, and I repent in trembling: will the Lord strike me, and hour by hour I do the same again. These leaders, my Lady, Lady Theotokos, I pray, may you have mercy, may you strengthen me, and may you grant me good deeds. Believe me, my Lady Theotokos, as I hate my evil deeds, and with all my thoughts I love the law of my God; But we don’t know, Most Pure Lady, why even though I hate, I also love, but I transgress what is good. Do not, O Most Pure One, allow my will to be done, for it is not pleasing, but let the will of Your Son and my God be done: may He save me, and enlighten me, and give me the grace of the Holy Spirit, that I may be from here ceased from filthiness, and so on lived in the commandment of Your Son, to Him belongs all glory, honor and power, with His Father who is without beginning, and His Most Holy and Good and Life-Giving One By the Spirit, now and forever, and to the ages of ages.
