Rejoice, Virgin Mary, refuge and intercession of my poor soul, sweet hope of my salvation. Rejoice, you who bore all the Creator in Your wombs. Rejoice, you who gave birth to God in flesh and the Savior to the world. Rejoice, preserving virginity incorruptibly at Christmas. Rejoice, you who received gifts from the Magi, and who saw their worship from You who was born, and who heard the glorious words of the shepherds about Him, and composed this in Your heart. Rejoice, thou who joyfully found Thy Son and God in the church among the teachers of the law. Rejoice, you who received the cruel diseases of the suffering, crucifixion and death of Your Son, the Most Sweet Jesus, and were brightly rejoiced at His Resurrection for three days. Rejoice, you who saw the Ascension of Your Son and God in heavenly glory with His disciples. Rejoice, you who received the Holy Spirit sent down from Him in the upper room of Zion in the form of fiery tongues descended with the disciples of the Lord. Rejoice, you who lived as an angel on earth. Rejoice, having surpassed all the ranks of angels and all the holy faces in purity and holiness.

Rejoice, exalted by the coming to You of Your Son and God at Your Dormition. Rejoice, Thou who joyfully betrayed Thy soul into His holy hands. Rejoice, Gloriously Exalted by Your ascension into heaven with your body. Rejoice, after Your repose you appeared as an apostle of God on the third day. Rejoice, in heaven from the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, crowned with the diadem of the Eternal Kingdom. Rejoice, ever-sung by all the heavenly powers. Rejoice, sitting near the throne of the Most Holy Trinity on the throne of glory. Rejoice, O culprit of reconciliation between God and man. Rejoice, ruler of heaven and earth. Rejoice, for it is impossible for anything to eat Your intercession. Rejoice, for all who faithfully flow to You are saved. Rejoice, for through You the afflicted receive consolation, the sick receive healing, and the needy receive timely help. Rejoice, I pray to You, O joyful Lady, take away the sorrow of sin in me too, and give me the joy of salvation, give me comforting tears, everlasting tenderness, true repentance and perfect correction.

Do not disdain me, Lady, but graciously accept these joyful voices brought by me to the poor, and come to help me during my helplessness in that terrible hour, when my soul is separated from my damned body: then, I pray, come to my aid and deliver me, guilty of eternal punishment, yes I will not be a demon of joy, nor food of hell fire. She, my Lady, do not allow my soul to see the terrible and formidable reproach and demonic torture prepared for the sinner, but foresee and save me Your servant in that terrible hour, so that I may glorify You forever, my only Hope and Intercessor of my salvation.
