O Reverend Father Theodore, praise and refuge to the land of Volyn, glory and adornment to the Holy Lavra of the Pechersk! Look at the people ahead, asking for your help with faith and confessing their sins to you: accept their fervent prayers, and deliver them from all sorrow and need through your intercession. Help us, saints of God, to lead our lives here in peace and repentance, to keep the remembrance of God’s commandments in every possible way in prosperity, and to protect ourselves from grumbling and despondency in troubles: both, fulfill our hearts with the best thoughts, and your kindness and imitators of the faith and zeal of the former, of whom we will be worthy of eternal blessings, and now, adorning ourselves, offer up prayers for our salvation to the Lord, to Him be glory, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
