O venerable and God-bearing Father Job! Having great boldness towards God, pray unceasingly for all of us, even though the storm of many troubles and sorrows will overwhelm us: for physical illnesses, mental illnesses, and the attacks of the enemy overwhelm us. For our enemy is walking around, looking for someone to devour: but we, careless of our salvation, are not worthy to look down upon the heights of heaven, nor to call upon the Lord for our help. But you be a quick helper to our salvation and an invincible deliverer from evils. Give us the memory of death, tears of repentance and the hope of salvation, so that we do not fall into despair, with low confidence in God’s mercy, but by remaining in sins, we will ultimately destroy ourselves: but may the memory of our sins be a source of warm tears and heartfelt contrition, God’s mercy and His grace for our salvation, through your prayers, yes will be given to us, your children, forever and ever.
