O venerable and God-bearing Father Macarius! We warmly believe that you, standing before the throne of the Most Holy Trinity, have great courage in prayers to the All-Merciful Lord God, who will always listen to you, your faithful servant and saint. For this reason, with tenderness, we humbly fall to you, Holy One of God, and pray fervently: do not keep silent for us to the Lord God, worshiped and glorified in the Trinity, pray that having mercifully looked upon us, He will not allow us to perish in our sins, but may He raise up the fallen, and may He bring correction to our evil and damned life, delighting us from future falls, and may everyone forgive us if we have sinned in thought, word and deed, from our birth to this hour.
Weigh, our Father Macarius, the weakness of our nature and the heaviness and sorrow of these times: pray unceasingly to the Lord God, that His indescribable mercy may leave us, but that He may keep us from worldly temptations, from the devil’s snares and from carnal lusts, so that we may receive from the Lord God all that we need in temporary life, from I will weaken troubles and misfortunes and good patience until the end of our life. Ask the Lord God for us to end our lives in peace and repentance and pass unrestrained from earth to heaven, to be delivered from the ordeals and demons of the air and eternal torment, and to be honored with the Kingdom of Heaven with you and with all the saints who pleased the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, to Him belongs all glory, honor and worship, with His beginningless Father, and with His Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
