As the valiant warriors of Christ, valiantly, in their bodily being, they labored: through faith and piety and all good deeds, like a shining lamp, you conquered the evil one and quenched all his kindled arrows. For this reason, having received the unfading crown, from the faces of the saints today you stand before the throne of God, giving praise and thanksgiving to Him. In the same way, we, flowing to your race, pray: be intercessors before God and our Lord Jesus Christ, that He may deliver this city and country from every cruel situation and grant us all that is good for life: moreover, may He grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be established in the inner man, and may He grant us worthy inherit the Kingdom of Heaven and glorify the All-Holy Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
