O sacred head, earthly angel and heavenly man, venerable and God-bearing Father Methodius! We fall to you with faith and love, and pray diligently: show us the humble and sinners your holy fatherly intercession: behold, it is a sin for our sakes, it is not the imams of the freedom of the children of God who ask our Lord and Master for our needs, but we offer you a prayer book favorable to Him, and with zeal we ask you with zeal: ask of His goodness beneficial gifts to our souls and bodies: right faith, undoubted hope of salvation, unfeigned love for everyone, courage in temptation, patience in suffering, constancy in prayer, health of souls and bodies, fruitfulness of the earth, prosperity in the air, everyday needs contentment, a peaceful and serene life, a good Christian death and a good answer at the Last Judgment of Christ.

Above all, ask, O servant of God, from the King of those who reign and the Lord of those who rule, to our most pious, autocratic, great sovereign, Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich of all Russia, health, salvation and victory over enemies, and to his entire God-protected kingdom for peace, silence, and prosperity. Do not forget, O Holiness of God, your holy abode, which you created and always honor, but keep it and all who live and labor in it and come to worship there from the temptations of the devil and are unharmed by all evil. Hey, Reverend Father! Do not deprive us of your heavenly help, but with your prayers bring us all into the haven of salvation and reveal us to be heirs of the all-bright Kingdom of Christ, so that we sing and glorify the ineffable generosity of the Lover of God, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and your holy paternal intercession, forever and ever.
