O Saint Herman of Christ, God-wise founder of this monastery, spiritual leader of the monastics, teach the image of your Christ-imitating life to all the faithful! We come running to you and earnestly pray to you: create saints with your prayers, so that by the grace of God we too will be built into the abode of the Holy Spirit, and by following your life in the image of the likeness and truth of Christ, we will be transformed, and by the power of your God-pleasing prayers we will fall, and we will continually strive to bear the fruits of good deeds, pleasing the Lord. Help us, in the light of His face, to walk and fulfill His holy will, to serve our neighbors for the good and to work for our salvation in every possible way, and in the patience of all hardships, sorrows and hardships to thrive and love our Lord with all our hearts.
Pray, holy God, for the strengthening of our weakness with holy help, may the Lord deliver us from enemies visible and invisible, from fiery and watery consumption, from bad air and corrupting winds, and even more so from the soul-destroying flame of our passions, and under the shelter of God’s goodness and mercy a quiet and silent life Let us live, waiting for the blessed appearance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to Him with the Father and His Holy Spirit be honor and glory forever and ever.
