To the throne of the Theotokos:

O Lady, Theotokos, with thy all-powerful and holy prayers, hast joined me to the humility and repentance of Thy servant, O my soul, forgetfulness, unreason, unwillingness, and all filthiness, vain thoughts, from the repentance of my heart, and from the darkness of my soul. And thou hast quenched the flame of my passions, for I am poor and penitent: and deliver me from many and bitter memories, and from plots, and from all heard evil deeds. For blessed art Thou of all peoples, and Thy holy name is praised exceedingly for ever and ever. Amen.
