O holy blessed John! We humbly pray to you: accept our small prayer and beg the All-Merciful Lord our God to add His mercy to us sinners and grant us everything useful for life and salvation. O servant of Christ! Even though we are greatly unworthy of us, with a contrite spirit and a humble heart, we fall back and pray to you: through your intercession to the Lord, make good luck in everything to our most pious sovereign Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich, granting him victory and conquest against all his enemies: the reigning cities, your city Keep Ustyug and all the cities and villages of Russia from all evil and from all misfortune, destruction, famine, cowardice, flood, fire, sword, invasion of foreigners and internecine warfare, from all illness and from all circumstances, so that we sing and magnify the all-holy and magnificent name of God, and your merciful intercession for us, in forever and ever.
