Sovereign Lord our God! By your indescribable providence and much grace, providing for your saints, from early childhood a godly life chosen in all hierarchs, who was foreknown marvelously as martyrs, this, like a holy holiness, a burnt offering of words, you glorified the true Gospel of Christ, a follower of Christ, who passed the path of suffering and death at the hands of the Hagarians You have made me worthy to drink this cup. Moreover, you have received the holy soul, like the all-fruitfulness of sacrifice, in the highest monastery, where with boldness you stand and are installed in the face of the saints, may the Hieromartyr Macarius remember us, who worship him with the all-honorable power. To her, pray, most sacred father, that we may be delivered from enemies visible and invisible and receive grace and mercy from the Lord, to Him, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, be glory, honor and worship forever and ever.
