To those who want to live piously for Christ, you show in yourself the image of a godly and silent life, like the desert dweller Maxim, Cosmos and Akaki, and the myrrh-streamers Nile and Theophilus, in in the deserts of Athos, who labored equally angelically, and to you also the Venerable Anthony of Pechersk, who was spiritually educated in Athos, is worthily reckoned with, like the pioneer of monastic life in Russia done. Pray to the Lord, God-bearing fathers, that together with you, we, in humility, may be deemed worthy to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven and, in the joy of the saints, sing praises to our Creator forever: Alleluia.
