Yirmós: As Thou didst walk in the wilderness by Thy feet, / through the depths of the earth, / Thou didst drive Pharaoh who was drowned, / and didst take to Thee a victorious song, crying out.
Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorified Thee.
Stretched forth Thy hand upon the Cross,
O Blessed One, Thou hast fulfilled Thy good pleasure, O Jesus Christ, All-holy.
Therefore, with a victorious hymn all shall sing to Thee.
Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorified Thee.
Through fear of Thee, O Maiden, death / hath been commanded to enter the midst of life, / thereby giving unto us this endless life and resurrection.
Response: The Theotokos, save us.
Theotokos: Having received Thy co-redeemer, as Thou didst will, / from Thy seedless womb, more than a virgin Thou wast made to conceive, / and by Thy handmaids Thou wast truly revealed, O Lady.
