O blessed father, Reverend Barnabas, our warm intercessor and good helper to all who call with faith! Deliver us with your prayers from every demonic situation: save us, the damned, from the mouth of the destructive serpent, who seeks to devour us and bring our belly to hell: pluck us from our fierce passions and all misfortunes that sin for our sake: give consolation to our souls, plant the fear of Judgment in our hearts God, deliver us from enemies visible and invisible: for you are a warm prayer book and intercessor for the imams for those in troubles and people who have fallen into sins. For you have appeared as a pillar of piety, a rule of abstinence, an image of humility, a mentor of chastity, an intercessor and guardian for the poor and orphans who resort to you. Who will be able to praise your life as angelic, or will your deeds and tears to the Lord be erased? Truly, your corrections have risen like the brightest of the sun: you have appeared as a zealot to all the saints, a teacher of the righteous and a champion and intercessor of the pious king.
Bring all of us in repentance to the Lord with your prayers, most honest Father, so that we too may be worthy of eternal blessings, where you enjoy the heavenly glory of the desired Jesus Christ, to Him belongs all glory, honor and worship, with His Beginning Father and with His Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
