Your teaching gives victory to the pious, to those who learn faithfully, to Nicodemus, the Holy Father, against passions and all heresies: in the Holy Spirit he acts as he always cries:
Rejoice, victory of the Orthodox;
Rejoice, fall of the ill-famed.
Rejoice, great teacher of the Church;
Rejoice, equal to the ancient saints.
Rejoice, for you have left us a wealth of sacred books;
Rejoice, for you cease all misery of passions.
Rejoice, God-enlightened pillar reaching to heaven;
Rejoice, O everlasting lamp of the Comforter.
Rejoice, cloud, overshadowing the faithful;
Rejoice, most luminous, shining best.
Rejoice, preacher of divine dogmas;
Rejoice, streams from immaterial sources.
Rejoice, Father Nicodemus, Holy Mountains, glorious decoration.
