O most sacred Father, Saint Moses of Christ, our shepherd and teacher! do not deny us, with faith flowing to the race of your relics and to your intercession and calling on you with warm prayer: but quickly strive to pray to the King of kings and the Lord of lords, that He may deliver His flock from the wolves that destroy it: and protect and preserve every Christian country with your holy prayers from worldly rebellion and cowardice, invasions of foreigners and internecine warfare, from famine and destruction, flood and sword and fire and sudden death. And just as you had mercy on the one who bought the goods from drowning, and you saved this holy monastery from robbers: so have mercy on us, in mind, word and deed, in the darkness of sinful existence, and deliver us from the wrath of God and eternal punishment: for yes Through your intercession and help, and through His mercy and grace, Christ God will give us a quiet and sinless life in this world, and will deliver us from this foolish state, and will make us worthy to be with all the saints forever and ever.
