Поми́лꙋй мѧ̀ бж҃е, по вели́цѣй ми́лости твое́й и҆ по мно́жествꙋ щедро́тъ твои́хъ ѡ҆чи́сти беззако́нїе моѐ. наипа́че ѡ҆мы́й мѧ̀ ѿ беззако́нїѧ моегѡ̀, и҆ ѿ грѣха̀ моегѡ̀ ѡ҆чи́сти мѧ̀. ꙗ҆́кѡ беззако́нїе моѐ а҆́зъ зна́ю, и҆ грѣ́хъ мо́й предо мно́ю є҆́сть вы́нꙋ. тебѣ̀ є҆ди́номꙋ согрѣши́хъ, и҆ лꙋка́вое пред̾ тобо́ю сотвори́хъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ да ѡ҆правди́шисѧ во словесѣ́хъ твои́хъ, и҆ побѣди́ши, внегда̀ сꙋди́ти тѝ. се́ бо въ беззако́нїихъ зача́тъ є҆́смь, и҆ во грѣсѣ́хъ роди́ мѧ ма́ти моѧ̀. се́ бо и҆́стинꙋ возлюби́лъ є҆сѝ, безвѣ̑стнаѧ и҆ та̑йнаѧ премꙋ́дрости твоеѧ̀ ꙗ҆ви́лъ мѝ є҆сѝ. ѡ҆кропи́ши мѧ̀ ѵ҆ссѡ́помъ, и҆ ѡ҆чи́щꙋсѧ: ѡ҆мы́еши мѧ̀, и҆ па́че снѣ́га ѹ҆бѣлю́сѧ. слꙋ́хꙋ моемꙋ̀ да́си ра́дость и҆ весе́лїе, возра́дꙋютсѧ кѡ́сти смирє́нныѧ. ѿвратѝ лицѐ твоѐ ѿ грѣ̑хъ мои́хъ, и҆ всѧ̑ беззакѡ́нїѧ моѧ̑ ѡ҆чи́сти. се́рдце чи́сто сози́жди во мнѣ̀ бж҃е, и҆ дꙋ́хъ пра́въ ѡ҆бновѝ во ѹ҆тро́бѣ мое́й. не ѿве́ржи менє̀ ѿ лица̀ твоегѡ̀, и҆ д¦а твоегѡ̀ ст҃а́гѡ не ѿимѝ ѿ менє̀. возда́ждь мѝ ра́дость сп҃се́нїѧ твоегѡ̀, и҆ д¦омъ влⷣчнимъ ѹ҆тверди́ мѧ. наꙋчꙋ̀ беззакѡ́нныѧ пꙋтє́мъ твои̑мъ, и҆ нечести́вїи къ тебѣ̀ ѡ҆братѧ́тсѧ. и҆зба́ви мѧ̀ ѿ крове́й бж҃е, бж҃е сп҃се́нїѧ моегѡ̀, возра́дꙋетсѧ ѧ҆зы́къ мо́й пра́вдѣ твое́й. гдⷭ҇и, ѹ҆стнѣ̀ моѝ ѿве́рзеши, и҆ ѹ҆ста̀ моѧ̑ возвѣстѧ́тъ хвалꙋ̀ твою̀. ꙗ҆́кѡ а҆́ще бы восхотѣ́лъ є҆сѝ же́ртвы, да́лъ бы́хъ ѹ҆́бѡ: всесожже́нїѧ не бл҃говоли́ши. же́ртва бг҃ꙋ дꙋ́хъ сокрꙋше́нъ: се́рдце сокрꙋше́нно и҆ смире́нно бг҃ъ не ѹ҆ничижи́тъ. ѹ҆бл҃жѝ гдⷭ҇и, бл҃говоле́нїемъ твои́мъ сїѡ́на, и҆ да сози́ждꙋтсѧ стѣ́ны і҆ерⷭ҇ли̑мскїѧ. тогда̀ бл҃говоли́ши же́ртвꙋ пра́вды, возноше́нїе и҆ всесожега́ємаѧ: тогда̀ возложа́тъ на ѻ҆лта́рь тво́й тельцы̀.
O Lord, have mercy on me, according to the great mercy of Thine and the multitude of Thy mercies, cleanse my iniquity. More than that, wash me from the iniquity of my deeds, and from my sin. For I know mine iniquity, and my sin is before me ever. In Thee alone have I sinned, and I have done deceitful things before Thee, that Thou mightest be justified in Thy words, and overcome when Thou judgest Me. Lo, in my iniquities was I conceived, and in sin did my mother bear me. Lo, Thou hast loved truth, O God, the hidden and secret wisdom of Thine. Thou hast anointed me with oil of gladness, and cleansed: Thou hast washed me, and more than snow shall whiten. My ears give joy and gladness, the bones of the humble rejoice. Turn Thy face from my sin, and all my iniquities cleanse. Make my heart clean within me, O Lord, and renew my spirit in my mother's womb. Do not cast me away from Thy face, nor take Thine Holy Spirit from me. Reward me with joy saved by Thee, and establish me in a house of Thy Lady. Teach the unclean ways of Thy path, and the unrighteous shall return to Thee. Deliver me from the blood of Thee, O Saviour of mine, that my tongue may speak right of Thee. Thou, O Lord, hast heard my prayer, and they that are afar off shall tell Thy praise. For though Thou desirest a sacrifice, I would give it: Thou hast not desired burnt offerings. A sacrifice to God is a broken spirit: a contrite and humble heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, by the will of Thee; and they shall be established in the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt Thou desire a sacrifice of righteousness, offering and burnt sacrifice: then shall they lay upon Thy altar calves.
