You were praised as a faster and a martyr, like Eustratius, / before you mortified your flesh through abstinence, / you followed Christ, bearing your cross. / Then you yourself went to the cross You were exalted/ and pierced with a spear in your ribs,/ you gave up your soul in the hand of God./ We carried you up to Heaven by a chariot of fire,/ you were especially crowned by Christ God// and the Savior our souls.
