Having shut yourself up for the Lord’s sake in a dark cave,/ O venerable Father Lawrence, for many years/ and pleasing to Him for the good in it,/ grant us to shut up all feelings of evil,/ and darkness turn away from passions, // and receive the lordship of the Kingdom of Heaven.
