We sing to Thee, O Lord, for Thou hast been glorified: Thou didst mount the Rider on the horse into the sea.

Helper and protector hath He been to me in salvation: this is my God, and I will glorify Him, God the Father of mine, and exalt Him.

The Lord crushing the weapons, Thee we acclaim, O Thou of the chariots of Pharaoh, and Thy power Thou didst cast into the sea.

The chosen riders three hundred were drowned in the dark sea.

Thou hast sent forth Thy wrath, O Lord, like consuming fire; and with the breath of Thine Spirit the waters have been divided.

Der Feind sprach: Ich will jagen und fangen, Beute teilen, mich mit ihnen nähren will ich; ich will mein Schwert ziehen, dass meine Hand sie vernichte.

Thou didst send Thy Spirit, covering the sea: they were swallowed up in the depths thereof more terribly than a serpent.

Thou didst stretch forth Thy right hand, O Lord, and didst take hold of the earth; Thou didst set Thy people, O Lord, by Thy righteousness, and didst deliver them, wherefore they rejoiced.

O Soul/Spirit, Thou hast strengthened me with Thy might in Thy holy dwelling. They heard the tongues and wrath did Thou visit those living in Philistia.

Then, the Lord of hosts and the princes of Moab were seized with trembling, quaking all who dwelt in Canaan.

Thou shalt drive away fear and trembling, by the greatness of Thy might shall they be made to cease.

O Soul, until men shall go into thy chambers, O Lord, until men shall go into thy chambers, therefore didst thou prepare.

On Thy throne, O Lord, who livest and shalt live for ever and ever, even when the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and horsemen went into the sea.

And I led Thee through the sea with water: and Thy sons, O Israel, walked dry-shod through the midst of it.

Glory, and now:
