O holy venerable martyr Cornelius! We humbly fall before the race of your holy relics and tenderly pray to you: look mercifully on our spiritual and physical sorrows, and grant us relief: help us, Holy One of God, to get rid of the slander of evil people, from them you yourself You suffered innocently on earth: protect us from the violence of the devil, who fights fiercely against us. I pray to the Lord God and His Most Pure Mother to grant us a quiet and sinless life, brotherly, unhypocritical love and a peaceful Christian death, so that with a clear conscience we may stand before the impartial, terrible judgment seat of Christ and in His Kingdom we will glorify the Life-giving Trinity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
