Showing, forasmuch as man hast been saved,
by His very essence,
standing midst the resurrection from the grave,
thou didst partake of the bread,
teaching thee by baptismal confession.
Wherefore ye also were lifted up to heaven with Him,
and having been taught by the Comforter,
Him Thou didst promise to send as the Ever-Divine God-Man:

And in the chanting: Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all ye stars and brightness. Praise Him, O heaven of heavens, and the waters that are above the heavens, that they may praise His name throughout all the world. For by His commandment they were created. Let them be established for ever and ever: He hath given a commandment, and it standeth fast. Praise ye the Lord from the earth, O ye creatures of the sea and of the dry land—fire and hail, snow and frost, stormy wind fulfilling His word; mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars; beasts and all cattle, creeping things and birds of the air; kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth; both young men and maidens, old men and children: let them praise the name of the Lord: for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. For He commandeth, and raiseth up the stormy wind that lifteth up the waters of the sea. Praise ye the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion. Sing unto the Lord all the earth; declare among the people His glory: make known among the nations His marvelous deeds. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
