O Saint Theoktistus, exceedingly pleasing servant of the Lord, our warm intercessor and prayer book! Be a listener and helper to us in sorrows and illnesses: help us sinners and saddened ones who come and worship your relics. In this present life, I beg the Lord God to grant us forgiveness of all our sins, even if we have sinned from our youth in deed, word, thought and all our feelings: and in the outcome of our souls, help us the damned. Pray to the Lord God of all creation, Creator, to deliver us from airy ordeals and eternal torment, so that we always glorify the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and your merciful intercession, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
