O great saint, God-bearing Ignatius! We fall to you and pray to you: look upon us sinners who resort to your intercession: pray to the Lord, may all our sins be forgiven. You sacrificed your soul as a martyr for your faith: grant us the courage to imitate you in everything. Nothing in life can separate you from your love for the Lord, neither flattering promises, nor reprimand, nor even the lowest torment: you appeared before the beast to fierce death with joy, and like an Angel in the monastery of our Heavenly Father you flew: and for this sake, your prayer can do much before Lord. Let us, holy servant, be the representative of the Lord: ask for a prosperous and peaceful life, health and salvation and prosperity in all things, and for victory and victory against our enemies, our most pious sovereign, Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich and the entire reigning house, may the Lord overshadow me with His grace and may He preserve our king for all the ways of his holy angels.
Help all Orthodox Christians with your prayers to Almighty God, may He deliver us from famine, cowardice, hail, rainlessness and deadly diseases, and may He grant us health and salvation. Be a quick helper to us in all sorrow, especially at the hour of our death, a bright protector and protector will appear to us, and beg the Lord to grant to all of us, who are now warmly praying to you, to receive, after the Christian death, the Kingdom of Heaven, where all the saints, together with you, glorify the Father and Son and Holy Spirit forever and ever.
