Having seen the Resurrection of Christ, let us worship the Holy Lord Jesus, the One Sinless One. We worship Your Cross, O Christ, and we sing and glorify Your holy Resurrection: for You are our God, do we know no other to You, we call Your name. Come, all the faithful, let us worship the Holy Resurrection of Christ: behold, through the Cross joy has come to the whole world. Always blessing the Lord, we sing His Resurrection: having endured the crucifixion, destroy death by death.

Is it for You - except for You? Behold, I have come - for, behold, I have come.

We sing and glorify Your Resurrection: For You are our God, do we know no other to You, we call Your name...

“This expresses the feeling of complete peace in the Savior. And how natural it is, especially now!.. In the risen Jesus Christ, man - the poorest wanderer on earth - is delivered from sin, hell, death, the devil, adopted by God, honored by the deification of his nature... If curse and sin are destroyed, if death is trampled upon, if hell is destroyed and the head of the primordial enemy is erased, then what else is there to fear? If so much power has been demonstrated, will the Lord after this reduce His beneficent right hand?”

Saint Theophan the Recluse
