About the sainthood of the New Martyr and Confessor of Russia: / sanctity and shepherd of the Church of Christ, / royal passion-bearers, / noble princes and princesses, / noble warriors, monastics and worldly, / pious men and women, / who suffered for Christ in every age and class, / who bore witness to His faithfulness even to death, / and who received the crown of life from Him! / You, during the days of the fierce persecution, / suffered our land from the godless, / at judgments, in captivity and the abysses of the earth, / in bitter labors and all sorts of sorrowful circumstances / an image of patience and they courageously showed their unshameful hope to nature. / Now, enjoying the sweetness of Paradise, / stand before the Throne of God in glory, / and offer everlasting praise and intercession with the Angels and all the saints to the Triune God. / For this sake we, the unworthy, / pray to you, our holy relatives: / do not forget your earthly fatherland, / the sin of Cain’s fratricide, / the desecration of shrines, godlessness and ours aggravated lawlessness.
/ Pray to the Lord of Powers, / that He may establish His Church unshakably in this rebellious and evil world; / may he revive in our land the spirit of reason and piety, the spirit of holiness and fear of God, the spirit of brotherly love and peace; / may we again be the royal priesthood, / the race of God, chosen and holy, / ever with you glorifying the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
