Oh, holy supreme apostle Paul, chosen vessel of Christ, heavenly mysteries to the narrator, all languages to the teacher, church trumpet, the notorious ornate, many troubles for the name He who endured Christ, who measured the sea and circumambulated the earth and turned us away from the flattery of idols! I pray to you and cry out to you: do not disdain my unclean (name), raise up the one who has fallen through sinful laziness, just as you raised up the church in Listrekh from your mother’s womb; and just as Eutychus, who was dead, you revived, raised me also from dead works; and just as through your prayer you once shook the foundations of the prison and you allowed the prisoners to do the will of God. For all you can do, by the authority given to you from Christ God, to Him belongs all glory, honor and worship, with His Beginning Father, and with His Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and ever eyelids of centuries.
