O holy servant of Christ, faithful Prince Joasaph! You, having loved God and Christ from your youth, have rejected all the enticing carnal wisdom, nobility, wealth, honor and glory of princes, counting them for nothing, and despising all the beauties of this world as if they were vanity, you have clung to the One God with all your soul, and have taken the good yoke of Christ upon you, unswervingly along the path of salvation You walked as a disciple and became a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. For this reason, the Great Rewarder, having seen the exploits of your labors, in your youth will accept you into His Heavenly village, and crown your honorable head with a crown of glory and incorruption, where now you are filled with ineffable glory and joy, triumphant from the faces of the saints in the unevening days of the Kingdom of Christ.
In the same way, we pray to you, holy of God, and with undoubted faith in your incorruptible relics, we fall and humbly ask: as if you have boldness towards the Holy Trinity, pray for us sinful and indecent servants, and ask us through your prayers for remission of sins, correction of our life, healing from illnesses and all sorts of ailments, from slander and deliverance from the wiles of the devil, and above all, grant salvation to our souls, and grant the heavenly blessings of perception, through the grace and love for mankind, of the Most Holy Life-Giving Trinity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
