O Lord, hear my supplications and accept my prayer in Thy truth; for I do not enter into judgment with the servant of Thy choice, as He does not justify anyone before Thee. For He has humbled His creature, my soul: He has placed me in darkness, as a man doomed to death forever. And My Spirit dwells within Me, and My heart is conformed to Thee. Remember the ancient days, instructing us in all Thy works; by Thy handprints in creation I have learned them. Lift up My soul unto Thee: for it is without waters before Thee. Hasten, O Lord, that my spirit may be taken away from me, lest Thou turn back My face from Me and make me descend to the abyss. Hearken to me, O Lord, as I call out in the morning of Thy mercy, as Thou didst pour out Thy compassion upon us; for I ask Thee by Thy might, that my enemies may be vanquished before Thee, and that all who mourn over their souls may be destroyed, since I am Thy servant.
