O Living in the help of Thy Highness, in the blood of Thee, O Heavenly One, Thou wilt be established; saith the Lord: "Thou art my Helper and my Refuge, O God, to whom I will trust." As He is the Saviour, He shall deliver thee from the snare of the hunter and from the craftiness of the enemy. His wings shall overshadow thee, and thou shalt take refuge under His wings; with His truth, He shall shield thee.
Fear not the fear of the night, nor the arrow that flieth by day, nor the thing that goeth forth in the darkness, nor the destroyer in the noonday. Thou shalt fall a thousand times, but they shall not come nigh to thy land; and into thine own land they shall not come: thou shalt see with thine eyes, and reward the sinners.
As though, O Lord, my trust: Thou hast set Thy refuge in the Highness. Evil shall not come upon thee, nor shall any plague touch thy body: for an angel shall keep thee, to preserve thee in all thy ways. Upon thy hands they shall take hold of thee, that thou mayest not stumble with thy foot; on the asp and the basilisk thou shalt trample, and thou shalt pass over the lion and the adder.
As though I have trusted, He delivereth me: He covereth me, for He knoweth my name. He calleth upon Me, and I hear him: With Him in tribulation, I will be mindful of Him; with Him in prosperity, I will praise Him: length of days will I fulfill Him and exalt Him.
Glory now and ever: Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, glory to Thee, O Lord, thrice.
And now, O Soul, a troparion, tone 6:
Grant, O Lord, that we may see Thy face and be filled with joy; for Thou art the Life, and all life is in Thee. Amen.

With the spirits of the prophets who have fallen asleep, preserve the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine], granting it rest in blessed life, where Thou art a Lover of mankind. In Thy repose, O holy One, where all thy saints are laid to rest, grant also rest to the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine], for Thou alone art a Lover of mankind. Glory: Thou didst descend into hell, and loosed the bonds of the captives, and Thou didst grant rest also to the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine]. And now: One only pure chamber, born without seed of God, pray that our souls may be saved.
