O great servants of Christ and miracle workers, Saints Theodora and John! Behold, we, unworthy and sinful, oppressed by many sorrows, diligently run to you and pray with strong hope: O fathers of mercy and God-obedience, mercifully now hear our prayerful voice, and strive for our help, and as in your life to all who mourn and To the embittered, helpers and comforters are quicker, so now show your love for us, by the grace-filled action of your God-pleasing prayers, transforming our sorrow into joy, and sorrow into consolation: for you can do everything in Christ who strengthens you, His faithful servant has appeared. Having received from God all the promised good things, send down to us the great and rich mercy of the Lord, so that we may sing and glorify the wondrous God in His saints, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
