Merciful and abundantly merciful God, who did not forsake the prophet Daniel in the lion’s den and His martyrs in prison with grace, but sent an angel to strengthen them, glorious is your merciful I beseech you, I bow the knee of my heart before the majesty of Your goodness and humbly ask You: do not reject my prayer, but like the Apostle Paul send me an angel, strengthening and instructing me, the most wretched one, in Your Divine commandments. I accept what is worthy of my deeds, do not disgrace my trust in You, but make me a Christian, walking the right path of Your commandments. For You are the hope of all Christians and the Lord Jesus Christ who contains everything, and We glorify You forever. Amen.
