O venerable and God-bearing Father Nicodemus! Standing before the throne of the Most Holy Trinity, pray unceasingly for our most pious, autocratic, great sovereign, Emperor Nicholas Alexandrovich of all Russia, and for the entire reigning house, for the most holy governing synod and for the most reverend bishop of our name, for all the sacred and monastic rank, the abbot and the brethren of the monastery yours, about the military leaders and city leaders and all Orthodox Christians: let each one walk worthy of our title, in which we are called bykh, and may our land be blooming with piety, and all who live on it will be a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy language, a people of renewal, may they appear who glorify the Lord now and ever and forever and ever.
