O great servant of Christ and glorious miracle worker, Reverend Father Methodius! Look at us, sinners, overwhelmed by the trivial waves of worldly passions and crying out to you: for we, your spiritual children and your verbal sheep, in you, according to God and the Mother of God, we place our hope, and we ask you with tenderness: by your intercession to the Lord God, ask us for peace, health, long life, goodness of the air, fruitfulness of the earth, seasonable rains, and deliver us all from all troubles: hail, famine, flood, fire, sword, harmful worms that eat the fruits of the earth, corrupting winds, deadly plagues and unexpected deaths, and in all kinds of sorrows and in the midst of our sorrows, be our good comforter and quick helper, preserving us with your prayers from the falls of sin and making us worthy to be heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven: may we glorify together with you all the blessings of the Giver, in the Trinity glorified and worshiped God, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
