Look down from the heights on high, Holy Hierarch Father Arseny, upon us humble and sinners, who come running to her in tenderness of souls and hearts, who trust in you with strong faith, who ask for your intercession with unfeigned love. You need a prayer book favorable to the All-Merciful God. Pray your holy prayers for us, and beg the Lord, the Lover of Mankind, not to destroy us with our iniquities, but to turn us to repentance and correction, so that the rest of our earthly life will not be spent in the work of sin and passion, but in doing the commandments of His saints, we will accompany us and with good hope we will reach the end of our life. At the hour of death, most especially appear to us, Father, good intercessor, then hasten us to pray for us helpless and help us, with the Communion of the Divine Sacraments, to achieve a peaceful and good end, to pass through the menacing ordeal of the air comfortably and usher in the heavenly Kingdom. Hey, Saint of God, do not despise us and do not disgrace our hope, but be a silent intercessor for us to God. O our good shepherd!
Protect us with your cheerful prayers and preserve us from all evil, so that we glorify the ineffable love of our God, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and your fatherly intercession, forever and ever.
