Master Lord our God, you alone have immortality, you are unapproachable in the living world, you kill and give life, you bring down to hell and you raise up! Thou didst in wisdom create man, and again return him to his land, tormenting the spiritual duty: We pray to Thee, accept the soul of Thy servant, and rest him in the bosom of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob: and give him the crown of Thy righteousness, a portion of those who are saved, for the glory of Thy elect: and for them thou shalt labor in this world for Thy name's sake, will receive a rich reward in the abodes of Thy saints, through the grace and generosity and love for mankind of Thy Only Begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
