O great miracle worker, Reverend Father Sergius! Hear the prayer of us sinners praying to you and calling on your holy name for help: do not despise us who honor you: pray for us sinners, our Creator the Lord God, for you will be given the grace to pray for us. We do not consider you to be dead: even though you have passed away from us in body, and your cancer is visible before our eyes, but your holy soul with angelic faces stands at the throne of the Almighty. O our shepherd, Reverend Father Sergius! Trying to save us from destructive enemies and from sudden death and from demonic temptation, our minds are darkened by cowardice. Do not leave us, O lamp of Christ, to be captive, but help us through your prayers to be delivered from eternal torment and to be an heir to the Kingdom of Heaven with all the saints from the ages who have pleased the Lord our God Jesus Christ, to whom honor is due, worship, glory and power, with His Beginning Father and His Most Holy and Good and Life-Giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
