O all-holy servant of Christ, John the Blessed, earthly angel and heavenly man! From your youth you hated the vain world, and you bore the yoke of Christ with diligence, fulfilled His commandments perfectly, and through your many labors you sat on the magnificent throne of God’s glory. Therefore, as you stand before us, pray to the Most Holy Trinity to give peace and health to our blessed emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich and victory to our enemies, and deliver our city of Rostov and all cities and countries and all Orthodox Christians from mental and physical troubles. And just as miracles are constantly being performed in your honest race, so do not leave us in the future, for we always call you: Hail, all-blessed John, our speedy helper, and accept from us the prayers brought to you, ask Christ God to find us great mercy.
