Evening Prayer of our Supplication, receive us, O Holy Lord, and grant unto us forgiveness of sins, for Thou alone art the Resurrection in the world.
Blest the people with thy presence, and glorify him, and give glory to him who rose from the dead: for he is our God, deliver us from our iniquities.
Come ye people, let us take and worship Jesus Christ, praising Him and His resurrection from the dead: For He is our God, deliverer from the deceit of this world.

Brothers, today this double feast rejoices the creation, and the human race shall rejoice: for the holy Theotokos hath called us, the unspeakable treasure of the twofold nature: the wordless second advent of Adam in paradise: the depository of the union of two natures: the triumph of the saving reconciliation: the tabernacle wherein the unutterable Word was clothed with flesh: a light cloud, which overshadoweth the cherubim, bearing in His body. Through your prayers, O God, may Thy mercy save our souls.
By Thy holy Incarnation, O Lord, we have been set free from passions, and by Thy Resurrection we have been saved from corruption, O Glory of our souls.
And now the stichera of the Presanctified Liturgy. It is fitting:
O Heavens and Earth:
Prepared was she in the race of races, two-fold mother of God-bearers, intercessor for peace, having brought forth in flesh the unspeakable Son, and yet co-equal with the Spirit verily: wherefore pray thou for us unto Him.
Holding fast to unceasing sorrows, we pray with unwearied hearts: Thy one intercession for us, O Blessed One, we beseech Thee: Save us all, O Evangelical God: for Thou art the refuge of peace, and the stronghold of our race.
Renew the world in thy travail, O Virgin Mother, veritable Saviour, and ever-vigilant intercessor of the pious, do not cease to pray nigh unto Thee all them that sing Thee.
Glory, and now: self-like:
Cloud of the Lord's glory ever-present in heaven, thou art called a prologue: for from thee, O Lord, hath come down upon the earth the word of life, and having risen up from thee, thou hast enlightened the world, O Jesus Christ, and hast made void the delusion of the Theotokos. Praying near to Thee, we beseech Thee, do not forsake us, those who confess Thee truly.
