Evening Prayer, receive our prayer, Holy Lord, and grant us forgiveness of sins, for Thou alone art the Resurrection in the world.
Blest ye the people sion, and bewail him, and give glory in him risen from the dead: For he is our God, deliver us from our lawlessnesses.
Come ye people, let us take and worship Jesus Christ, praising Him and His resurrection from the dead: For He is our God, deliverer from the deceit of this world.

Brothers, today this double feast rejoices the creation, and the human race shall rejoice: for the holy Theotokos hath called us, the unspeakable treasure of the twofold nature; the second coming of Adam into paradise: the depository of the union of two natures: the triumph of the saving reconciliation: the tabernacle wherein the unutterable Word became flesh verily: a light cloud, which overshadows the cherubim that are in very being, bearing the body. Through your prayers, O Mother of God, preserve the salvation of our souls.
By Thy holy Incarnation, O Lord, we have been made free from passions, and by Thy Resurrection we have been ransomed from death, O Glory of our souls.

O Lady, like the holy ranks:
Prepared was she in the race of women, two handmaids of the Most Pure Mother, intercessors for peace, born by the flesh of the Son of God, co-presence also with the Spirit truly: His preservation we beseech thee.
Holding fast to unceasing sorrows, we pray with unwavering intercession: Thy mercy, O Goodly One; save us all, O Evangelical: for Thou art the refuge of the world, and the defense of our race.
Renew the world in thy travail, O Virgin Mother, veritable Saviour, and unceasing intercessor of the pious, most holy in thy prayers, cease not to pray nigh unto all who sing thee.

Cloud of the Lord's glory ever-present in heaven, let us name thee: from thee indeed didst Thou send down the word as rain upon the earth; and having risen up from thee, Thou hast enlightened the world, O Jesus Christ, and hast made the delusion of Thyself strange to Thy creatures. Praying with close entreaty that Thou wouldst not cease from us, we beseech Thee, O Lord, not to forsake those who truly confess Thee.
